Conditions to be qualified in this program:

- Age between 21-59;
- High school diploma (at least) verified by ECA in the last 5 years;
- Intention to live and manage his (her) own business in Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Having a minimum asset of $ 600,000 CAD;
- Ability to invest at least 200,000 CAD to run a business with a minimum 33.3% ownership;
- Ability to create a job for at least 1 permanent resident or citizen;
- Having a minimum 2-year managerial experience and ownership of an active business (owning at least 25% of its shares) in the last 5 years, or having at least 5 years of experience as senior management in a business in the last 10 years;
- Having CLB5;
- Taking part in an explanatory tour of the province;
How to apply
Step 1: Submit EOI (Expression of Interest):
First, the applicant should accurately complete the EOI form and submit it to the Immigration Office of the Province. The Immigration Office will select those applicants who acquire higher scores and invite them for presenting their complimentary documents.
Step 2: Receiving ITA (Invitation to Apply):
After the selection of EOI of the applicant, the immigration office will provide him(her) with the ITA letter. Then, the applicant should complete the required forms within an approximate time of 90 days (after receiving ITA letter) and submit them together with the relevant documents, an accurate business plan and verifier report of his belonging assets in English or French.
Step 3: Taking part in an interview with OIM (Organization for International Migration):
The applicant will be invited to take part in an interview with OIM within a maximum limit of 60 days when OIM assessed the application and convinced the applicant meets the required criteria. After acceptance in the interview and signing the agreement by and between the applicant and OIM, the Business Performance Agreement will be issued upon which the applicant may apply for work permit maximum within 2 months after its issuance.
Step 4: Receiving Work Permit and Running Business in Newfoundland and Labrador:
The applicant should arrive in Newfoundland and Labrador maximum within 6 months after the issuance of a work permit. Upon arrival, he (she) should take action in visiting the immigration staff maximum within 30 days and start a business in the province. After elapsing 1 year of running the business, the applicant may apply for a nomination letter from OIM.
Step 5: Receiving a Nomination Letter and Applying for PR:
Upon receiving a Nomination Letter, the applicant should complete all the required forms and submit them together with needed documents for receiving a Permanent Residency to the Intake Office of IRCC maximum within 6 months.

Conditions to be qualified in this program:
- Age be at least 21 years;
- Have completed a degree or diploma after at least two (2) academic years of full-time, in-person study at Memorial University or College of the North Atlantic with the degree or diploma having been completed within two (2) years of submission of the Expression of Interest;
- Have a valid post-graduate work permit;
- Want to live permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador while owning and actively managing a local business that has the potential to create significant economic benefit to Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Have at least one (1) year’s continuous experience actively managing and owning the current business (33.3 per cent minimum ownership);
- Demonstrate ability to create at least one full-time equivalent job for the local population (permanent residents and Canadian citizens);
- Have a score of at least seven (7) on the Canadian Language Benchmark in speaking, listening, reading and writing in English or French;

Conditions to be qualified in this program:
- Completed at least half of your studies in Canada;
- Graduated from an eligible publicly funded Canadian college or university (students must send proof of graduation with their application);
- Completed a minimum of a two-year diploma or degree program, while studying on a full-time basis. One-year post-graduate degree programs and certificate programs which require a previous degree or diploma (which may have been obtained abroad), are also eligible;
- A full-time job or job offer. The job or job offer should be for at least two years with the possibility of extension, from an eligible Newfoundland and Labrador employer.
- Age between 21-59;
- Qualifications, training, skills, and/or accreditation required for the job;
- Have an Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Post-Graduate Work Permit. Work permits that are submitted with the PNP application must have duration of six months remaining prior to expiry date;
- The intention and ability to settle permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Sufficient settlement funds and financial resources to successfully establish yourself and any dependents in Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Sufficient English or French language capability to perform the employment duties. If you are nominated in an occupation classified in NOC C or D you will have to meet Minimum Language Requirements;

Conditions to be qualified in this program:
- A full-time job or job offer. The job or job offer should be for at least two years with the possibility of extension, from an eligible Newfoundland and Labrador employer;
- Qualifications, training, skills, and/or accreditation required for the job;
- Age between 21-59;
- An Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Work Permit with at least 4 months remaining at time of application, or are entitled to apply for one;
- The intention and ability to settle permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Sufficient settlement funds and financial resources to successfully establish yourself and any dependents in Newfoundland and Labrador;
- English or French language capability to perform the employment duties. PLEASE NOTE: Occupations classified in NOC Code C or D will have to meet Minimum Language Requirements;
- Refugee claimants with a pending application to remain in Canada are eligible to apply to the NL Provincial Nominee Program, provided that they have Canadian work experience obtained legally in order to qualify;

Conditions to be qualified in this program:
- Applicants must have a high-skilled job or job offer from a NL employer based on the National Occupational Code (NOC) classification system. The job or job offer should be for at least two years with the possibility of extension, from an eligible Newfoundland and Labrador employer;
- Have an IRCC Work Permit with at least 4 months remaining at time of application, or be entitled to apply for one;
- Have a Canadian post-secondary degree or diploma, or an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report from an agency approved by IRCC to verify that their foreign education is equal to Canadian education standards.
- Demonstrate the intention and ability to settle permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Have sufficient settlement funds or financial resources to successfully establish themselves and any dependents in Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Be able to provide language test results from a designated testing agency that match the language level declared in the Express Entry profile; and,
- Refugee claimants with a pending application to remain in Canada are eligible to apply to the NL Express Entry Provincial Nominee Program, provided that they have Canadian work experience obtained legally in order to qualify;
