Big Bank Says Moncton Best Place in Canada To Find A Job

The BMO Labour Market Report Card ranked Hub City first out of 33 cities and the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton is not surprised.
CEO John Wishart says since the pandemic began, Moncton has been doing reasonably well compared to other parts of the country.
He says New Brunswick handled the pandemic response quite well and the province opened up faster which brought more people back to work sooner.
Despite the recent job losses, Wishart believes this region will fare better over the long term than many other jurisdictions across the country.
