SAINT JOHN – As 2019 draws to a close, RE/MAX is out with its national housing outlook for 2020, and the real estate company says the average sales price is expected to increase by 3.7 percent.
Corey Breau, an associate broker, and salesperson in Saint John said they are predicting an increase of four percent in Greater Saint John.
“We’re predicting a sale price of $189,778 in 2020 at the end of the year due to limited inventory,” said Breau.
Move-up, foreign, first-time and move-over buyers will continue to drive demand in the region in 2020, he said.
