Category-based selection will allow Canada to issue invitations to apply to prospective permanent residents with specific skills, training or language ability. Further details on the timing of invitations for individual <a href=\"https:\/\/swallowimmigration.ca\/en\/nb-healthcare-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">categories <\/a>and how to apply will be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, category-based selection invitations will focus on candidates who have<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a strong French language proficiency or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>work experience in the following fields:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>healthcare<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>trades, such as
