{"id":15357,"date":"2022-09-27T19:52:44","date_gmt":"2022-09-27T19:52:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swallowimmigration.ca\/en\/?p=15357"},"modified":"2022-09-27T20:38:42","modified_gmt":"2022-09-27T20:38:42","slug":"removal-of-border-restrictions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swallowimmigration.ca\/en\/removal-of-border-restrictions\/","title":{"rendered":"Removal of border restrictions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/huddle.today\/2022\/09\/26\/ottawa-makes-big-changes-to-border-restrictions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ottawa Makes Big Changes To Border Restrictions<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Government of Canada announced on September 26 that all Covid-19 entry <a href=\"https:\/\/swallowimmigration.ca\/en\/lightens-border-measures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">restrictions<\/a>, including using the ArriveCAN app, testing, quarantine, and isolation, are no longer in effect as of Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of October 1, 2022, all travellers, regardless of citizenship, will no longer have to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Submit public health information through the ArriveCAN app or website;<\/li><li>Provide proof of vaccination;<\/li><li>Undergo pre- or on-arrival testing;<\/li><li>Carry out Covid-19-related quarantine or isolation, or;<\/li><li>Monitor and report if they develop signs or symptoms of Covid-19 upon arriving to Canada.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Transport Canada is also removing existing travel requirements.
