Due to the high demand of the Atlantic provinces<\/strong> of Canada in the fields related to health<\/strong>, those who want to work in the profession<\/a> of Personal Support Worker in these provinces <\/strong>can send us their resume at\u00a0info@swallowimmigration.ca<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Having at least two years of official work experience in the last three years in related fields<\/a> such as nursing<\/strong>, midwifery<\/strong>, various paramedical technicians<\/strong>, laboratory staff<\/strong>, teachers<\/strong>, educators<\/strong>, nursing home staff<\/strong>, educational counsellors<\/strong>, etc. Also, general practitioners<\/strong> for special cases;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Having the English level of CLB5<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Having at least a high school diploma<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Willingness and ability to work in the profession of personal support worker<\/a> with the following tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Taking care of a person or family during illness or recovery period;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Assist the patient in all activities of daily living, including, toilet, bathing, dressing, mobility;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Preparing meals and feeding the patient;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Doing housework such as cleaning and tidying the patient’s room or house, changing beds and doing laundry;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Help the patient to take their medication and make sure it is taken according to the instructions;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Doing shopping;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Spending time with the patient;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Helping the patient in prescribed exercises;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   Observing and reporting changes in patient behaviour<\/p>\n\n\n\n
